Apparently setting up an alternative monetary system is not so easy. See this update on Bitcoin, and my earlier post.
Note: I had previously linked to David Andolfatto's blog, but it looks like that is defunct.

The link to Andolfatto takes you to a page that says he's removed the blog. Thought you might want to be made aware.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I'll have to ask Andolfatto what is going on the next time I see him.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what happened to my beloved blog. I think maybe I'll move it elsewhere. Anyone have a good idea as to where?
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean you have no idea? It's your blog. You must know why it disappeared.
ReplyDeleteDavid, did you perhaps violate Blogger's Terms of Service? I mean it's fine to criticise Krugman, but if you urged your readers to poison his cat you are liable to be shut down.
ReplyDeleteReminder to self: Keep Andolfatto away from my cat.
ReplyDeleteMy last post simply recommended that Sargent start a blog with the title "Conscience of a Scientist."
ReplyDeleteI guess that killed the cat.
"As far as I’m concerned, it is open season on Krugman’s cat."

Thanks. That is very funny. Krugman's cat (though there actually 2 of them, apparently) does actually have a superior air about it. If you know cats, though, that's just the way they are. A dog is always your friend. Sometimes the cat likes you. Sometimes it doesn't.
ReplyDeleteI would like to thank you for the efforts you have put in writing this blog. I’m hoping
ReplyDeletethe same high-grade web site post from you in the future also. Actually your
creative writing abilities has encouraged me to get my own web site going now.
Really blogging is spreading its wings and growing fast. Your write up is a great example.
